The room was clean and the shower room was newly done and good. The breakfast was amazing and varied, with delightful croissants. The hotel provided a good wifi connection, which was helpful for staying connected. Additionally, the beds were quite comfortable, and the bathroom was larger than expected and had everything we needed. The personnel were friendly and the breakfast included plenty of fruit, which was a bonus.
The room I stayed in did not have windows, but rather a high skylight that could be opened. However, this made the room feel somewhat claustrophobic.

I really enjoyed the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hotel. The interior decoration had a lovely vintage touch, with beautiful antique furniture and elegant draperies. The common areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating, making it easy for senior people like me to relax and socialize with other guests.
It would have been even better if there were handrails installed along the staircases and in the bathrooms. This would provide extra support and safety for senior guests, especially those with mobility issues.

Comfy beds, staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast. Yum! Fresh fruits, meat, cheese, eggs, rolls. Relaxed vibes and cheap dinners. Location spot on for biking and exploring the city. Perfect for a chill city trip.
Room too small, no window but only a high skylight without a blind. Light shining on bed all day, so no afternoon naps.

The value for money at Hotel The Ark was great, the rooms were recently remodeled with tall ceilings and skylights, and our friends enjoyed a lovely back yard and garden with a terrace. The location surrounded by tulip fields was picturesque, and the staff treated us warmly and made sure everything was clean and nice.
Food for breakfast could be improved with a glass of milk or orange juice to make it perfect.
